One of the most underappreciated parts of the face for a man is his eyebrows. With all the time a man spends trying to perfect his hair, his skin, his teeth, his facial hair, and pretty much every other area of his face, a man’s eyebrows tend to go unnoticed. Think about it – how much time do you spend just even noticing that your eyebrows actually exist? For those of you with glasses that partly cover them, eyebrows may as well just be some hairy mythological creature. However, that doesn’t mean that your eyebrows aren’t important facial features. As your Elm Grove men’s barbershop, we’d like to address the question every man should really think about: should he or shouldn’t he groom his eyebrows?
So What’s the Answer?
Grooming your eyebrows can be a harrowing chore as many men and women can attest to. Not only is the actual grooming part complicated if you decide to take on this task by yourself, but even determining whether you actually should do so in the first place can be tricky. Not all men actually need to have their eyebrows groomed and in many cases, when a man’s eyebrows have been obviously groomed, it just doesn’t look all that attractive. You should take this into consideration because not every guy will need to have his eyebrows groomed, Obviously, it’s a good idea to go about grooming your eyebrows if they’re unruly or you’re developing an unfortunate unibrow like Anthony Davis.
Actually…you know what? Bad example. If you could line up millions of dollars in advertisements off of sporting a cyclops eyebrow like him, we’d probably just recommend getting rid of your tweezers, razors, trimmers, and virtually any other object that you own that’s either sharp or pointy.
What You Should Actually Do for Your Eyebrows
You may have noticed that as you get older, your eyebrows start to get longer and even a bit scruffier. If this is the case, the best thing to do for your eyebrows is slightly trim them. To do so, brush your eyebrows up with a small comb and cut along your brow line, getting rid of any lengthier hairs.
When it comes to plucking your eyebrows, you probably shouldn’t go all out in trying to achieve perfectly neat and uniform eyebrows, but you should pluck or tweeze an emerging (or already emerged!) unibrow. If you’re finding the task hard to accomplish, you’re in luck – our Elm Grove men’s barbershop offers men’s waxing to help out. Just ask one of our barbers about it the next time you stop by and we’ll be able to remove any of your unwanted hairs.
