At 18|8 Lombard, we strive to provide exceptional service, in a timely manner, and in a professional, upscale environment. To do so, we have implemented the following policies. We will also be asking all guests to update their client profile cards so that we have accurate and complete contact information on file.
One guest running late potentially impacts other guests. Because we respect our guests’ time, we may not be able to accommodate your service(s) if you are late. We have a 5-minute grace period after which we will call you. When you are more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to adjust the service or, in some cases, forfeit the service completely. A guest who is late for a 15-minute service, like a clean-up, may have his service forfeited completely.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
Because our guests are so important to us, we hold your time slot just for you. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you do so before the close of business the day preceding your appointment. You will receive a confirmation text message or e-mail the morning of the day preceding as long as we have a valid cell number or e-mail on file.
We understand that unavoidable issues come up which may impact your schedule and require you to cancel your appointment on short notice. However, you will be required to pre-pay for future services if you have three or more occasions of cancelling within two hours or missing your appointment entirely. Your prepayment will be forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or you miss your appointment.
We promote an upscale, professional and relaxing environment free from obscenities and disruptive behavior. We have a zero tolerance policy for offensive, inappropriate or disrespectful comments and behavior. To maintain the highest level of professionalism in our salon and for the safety of our team, we have a no fraternization policy between our guests and staff.
Child Safety Policy
Our salon is not child proof, and our team uses sharp implements, chemicals and hot styling tools. Therefore, children are not allowed in the cutting area unless receiving a service. Our general rule is children must be able to sit for 30 consecutive minutes in order to receive a service. In the event you bring young children into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them.
