18|8 Men’s Salon Late Policy
One client running late will throw the rest of our day off, resulting in us running late for clients who show up to their haircut and shave appointments on time. We have a 5-minute grace period, after which we’ll give you a call to check on you. We will do our best to accommodate your service, however, we reserve the right to reduce the service or the entire service may be forfeited completely. Members late for their 15-minute member clean-up may have their service forfeited.
Cancellation/No Show Policy (Including Late Policy Forfeitures)
Your appointments are very important to us and we hold your time slot just for you. If you have to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so before the close of business the day preceding your appointment. You will receive a confirmation text message or e-mail the morning before your appointment if you have a valid cell number or email on file. Please respond to text messages in ALL CAPS.
We understand that unavoidable issues come up, however, if last minute cancellations, no shows or forfeitures become a habit, after the third violation we will request a credit card be placed on file in order to reserve future appointments. Any future violations will be charged 50% on all services canceled.
Our Men’s Salon Etiquette
We promote an upscale, professional and relaxing environment free from obscenities and disruptive behavior. We have a zero tolerance policy for offensive, inappropriate or disrespectful comments and behavior. To maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism in our salon and for the safety of our team, we have a strict no fraternization policy and our staff is to refrain from networking with clients on social media.
Child Safety Policy
For safety reasons, no children are allowed in the hair cutting area unless they are receiving a service from one of our stylists. Children are not allowed to sit on a parent’s lap during while their parent receives a service and must be able to sit for 30 consecutive minutes. Our salon is not childproof. Sharp implements, hot styling tools, chemicals, and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Our policy strictly prohibits unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.
