Three Stylists Share the Honor Chosen From Across the Country

Irvine, CA — 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons has announced three stylists from regions across the country to reign as Stylists of the Year. The honor is earned by the nomination of participating 18|8 salons owners and is regarded as a peak achievement among the ranks of stylists. The proud winners for 2019 are: Sandy Rawaismarn of Sherman Oaks, CA; Kristina Karson of Barrington, IL, and Morgan Gilliam of Brookhaven, GA.

The awards were announced in May over a live-stream video-conference with the participant salons on the line. Thrilled winners received award plaques, an 18|8 branded tool bag filled with clippers, products, and styling tools, and lauded recognition among their peers.

Sandy Rawaismarn was singled out due to her ability to contribute to the 18|8 Sherman Oaks, CA team, building her clientele, overall enthusiasm, and demand by customers who line up and wait for her. Her customers describe her as funny and Owners Robin and Jim Della Penna find her most deserving.

Morgan Gilliam is a great asset to 18|8 Brookhaven, GA and lives up to the ethics of hard work and desire while showing genuine care and concern for her craft. She turns careful “listening into outstanding service and expertise turning out happy clients every day,” say owners, Skip and Nancy Plesnarski.

Master Stylist Kristina Karson of 18|8 Barrington, IL is also the co-Artistic Manager who is exceptional behind the chair and a top revenue producer for the salon including retail and memberships. Clients say that she is “meticulous” and co-workers find her a role model according to Owner, Jeff Eggert.
