This is pretty exciting stuff.  Garrett Lisi, the famed theoritical physicist known for the E8 Theory, had dinner at the house a couple of months back.  He was very animated and enthusiastic that the work at CERN would deliver proof of the existence of Higgs-Boson.  Also, establishing the particle is essential to proving his theorems.
